The word “psychology” literally means “study of the soul”. I see psychology as a way to know oneself and experience every aspect of life more fully. I believe that deepening psychological knowledge is beneficial for every person.
In my life and professional journey, I’ve become convinced that if treated properly, psychological trauma can be a gateway to deeper knowledge and understanding. I am inspired by the symbolism of kintsugi - the art of golden soldering or golden stitching. Kintsugi is a Japanese tradition of restoring broken pottery with a special glue mixed with gold. Philosophically, this method is based on the idea that breakage and restoration are integral to the history and integrity of an object and should not be concealed. On the contrary, they transform it into a unique work of art.
Jungian therapy sees humans as having infinite potential for development and is oriented towards the meaning of suffering - what it teaches us and how it helps us to grow. Therefore, in my work I focus not on the symptoms, but on their purpose. I support my clients to view their psychological experiences from a new perscpective so they can be a more authentic and whole version of themselves.
